Inglese di base: simple past dei verbi to be e to have (seconda parte)

In questa seconda parte della lezione, l'insegnante spiega le forme contratte del passato del verbo to be in frasi negative: I wasn't, you weren't, he/she/it wasn't, we weren't, you weren't, they weren't.
Introduce poi la coniugazione del verbo to have al simple past: I had, you had, he/she/it had, we had, you had, they had. Attraverso utili esempi mostra l'utilizzo corretto del verbo in frasi affermative, interrogative e negative. Per le frasi interrogative e negative viene utilizzato il verbo ausiliare to do al passato (did, did not): did you have a car? (avevi una macchina), I did not/didn't have a car (non avevo una macchina). Viene poi spiegato che la particella got viene utilizzata solo al presente (i have got brown hair), e mai al passato.
